Message: Will the assays be considered reliable when we get them

I agree with you Glorieux that I will be comfortable with the results if they get by our QC. However, I have also wondered how the lab could mess up these assays, and logically I can devise only four possibilities:

1) The lab really is incompetant. However this seems unlikely given the number of assays they have processed in the past. Anyone in this particular business has to have a good track record or they would not be in business. I have to believe that management there is very concerned about their image at this point.

2) They are slowing the results since they are peeved that Noront helped establish a new competitor. This also does not seem likely as it would be unprofessional, give them a bad rep and would discourage other business.

3) The lab is overworked and messed up. This is a variation of the first possibility, though with a slightly higher probability.

4) The assay results were so high that the lab is not used to assaying these accurately.

Am I missing something?
