Problem is that reporting visible gold in a core sample could be very misleading. Upon assay it could be anything from grams to ounces per tonne. Doesn't take much gold to be visible. Nickel in massive sulfides seems to be more evenly distributed and a good guess at what it will assay ouit at more likely.
