Down-hole geophysical survey?

Does anyone knows what kind of down-hole geophysical survey they are using on DE-1, just curious because I read that in ground geophysics, the UTEM IV transmitter, and the recent SQUID technology and its integration with standard ground TEM systems, were designed to give better depth of penetration as well as conductance discrimination. I’m not to sure but I think Falconbridge’s Nickel Rim project was discovered by ( UTEM IV) method. The contractor was Lamontagne Geophysics. So what I'm trying to say is that if today's geophysical technology methods can read quite deep & clearer then our chances of finding deeper ore zones must be enormous.
