Recently, I received access to a new trading platform and have been playing with some of the capabilities. I set up a hypothetical portfolio to include 25 exploration companies (as taken by one of QQ_Girls posts) that are presently part of the Ring.
For each of these 25 companies, I purchased (again hypothetically) $100.00 of their common shares on August 1/08 which is previous to Noront announcing their findings at JBL. The following table denotes what that $100.00 investment in each company is worth as of close on Friday. (Not to mention the aggregate)
There certainly have been some movers and shakers leading the charge (with Noront having the only substantial find to date, I am a little surpised that we are not moving and shaking moreso than the other guys, but..) and some that are not moving and shaking so much. Perhaps an opportunity for those of you looking for other plays other than the lead dog.
