Message: Bill Caras blog on Juniors from other member mentions McFaulds

Junior explorers and miners have never really gotten major financing from banks, it has had to be all equity at first. The really big miners do not need a penny of Bank money either. So, it is hard to see the relevance of the credit crunch to NOT or McF, except in the very indirect impact the crunch has on the macro economic picture. If NOT has the big find, then a BHP, RIO, etc. won't need to ask their bank what they can afford to pay. Harris' view however certainly emphasizes the astuteness of NOT's recent financial strategy to remain well funded ahead of its needs.
