NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
Good analysis and I take no issue with potential value. HOWEVER at the moment there is no review in hand to even confirm 4 million tonnes and while your value per tonne seems OK it may be very different than the numbers the 'qualified person' puts on the deposit. These are the risks and why the share price is where it is. More infill drilling removes some of the above risk and will increase share price even before the 'preliminary review' is released. *Brokers and other big players can run a calculater faster than you or I and get a good idea what to expect.
DE 2 won't be proven by one drill hole although if they get 150 feet of massive sulphides it would convince a lot of people that it will be proven which is almost, but not quite the same thing.
Noront is on a roll and share price should improve this coming week with or without news. No news of a new hit on a new anomaly would be disappointing to forum members but I'm not sure the general market is expecting that. Sure isn't anything built into the existing share price to indicate such an expectation.
