My only thought on this is that it would provide an irrefutable base for resource, over which, additional assays would only indicate .... more, thereby setting a solid bottom on which to grow the SP.  Is there something more important to attain in the short term other than this base and greater credibility?  I guess that's a matter of opinion, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 43-101 wasn't a major push from the financial advisors in the interest of selling the NOT story to all of the potential investors.
