I totally agree with Goldfinger - one person is best, but then again we are all entitled to complete our own DD.
If I was the CEO and received 5 calls (if not more) from shareholders in a day, who took up an hour of my time, I'm not sure how happy I would be.
Doesn't RN put himself at great risk if he lets something slip to one of the shareholders before a public announcement is made? I know he is a bright individual and would be cautious when sharing info but things can be missinturpeted by an individual investor to the point where this investor reports back to these boards the wrong info. Would it be treated as insider info if the stock moved ahead of the public press release?
I am extremely bullish on this stock, but would prefer if RN was conducting day to day business then spending it answering questions of individual shareholders. If we all called him, would he equally respect us and thus return all calls? That would be a nightmare in my eyes.
Although I appreciate the info he does provide in between press releases, I would recommend that we provide AGORACOM with the questions we have and they in turn relay them to the prez. This way nothing is repeated more than once and we do not waste too much of RN time. A weekly call with the prez recorded live or in simple Q and A format would be best in my eyes.
I am still surprised that RN is picking up the phone when you call into the office. At his level, he should definitely have an EA that screens all his calls and prioritizes his day.
Although I rant about this, I do have to admit that this is a characteristic that speaks volume of the man and its and indication of where he will take this company. He is not scared to face the public and is tackling it's questions head on...then again, if he only has good news to report, why would he hide. If this baby runs upwards, the way many believe it will, he will get my vote fro CEO of the year.
