I don't know Joe,,,But there was a link on my E-trade account to the SPIC web site,,,,you may have the same on your account for the Canadian equivalent,,,,
I'm a little concerned because I'm with E-trade,,,have an account in the U.S. as that's my citizenship. But my E-trade account has a Global Trading account in it,,,,and I'm not sure about foreign equities and the SPIC. I checked their website,,,and there is no mention of foreign equities,,,so I'm a little concerned,,,not overly,,,,because I really don't think that E-trade is going to go bust,,,,but,,,,I sure would be sick if all were for nought,,,so to say.
In all honesty,,,I think you Canadians are in MUCH better shape,,,you have a strong currency,,,,,strong Natural Resources,,,whereas the U.S. has been spending like a drunken sailor using its Visa card( Printing Press) that's way over the spending limit.
