Old Joe - I think deposit insurance is limited to 100 k per account, but that could be several accounts per person - IE: individual cash, joint with wfe, joint with kids. joint with your bookie etc., plus your registerd accounts. The IDA also offers some protection via it's member brokers, but I do not recall the details. I will find out and post later.
