I agree with you Rosedale. This Canaccord/Van Eden thing smells of manipulation.
Assuming that this is manipulation by Canaccord and Van Eden on BNN, I'm wondering the timing picked. Would they not have gotten more legs by waiting till Monday. If that's the case, why the rush to do this manipulation on a Friday.
I'm just taking an absolutely wild guess here, and thinking maybe that since Canaccord is already short, they are scared silly. Maybe they rushed this smear campaign against NOT because they are scared to death about the release of core #5.
I have read many other posts and opinions stating that assays of core #5 could be a major turning point for NOT, as it will verify and alert the world to the magnitude of Double Eagle/ James Bay.
This could just be a latch ditch effort for Canaccord to get from under their short position before assays #5 are released.
