So why did this merger happen when it did? I can only assume that they may be ready to take something to market and/or change the listing from PTSC to something else.

I have done a lot of reading on this nano approach to cancer treatment and vaccines and the stable nature of what they are developing (does not require absolute "0" for stability) is key to global treatment options.
