from this morning, and since I finally have a little time I can address the issue of the Apple license. After a talk with Cliff, and after he reviewed the info Banosser posted, he pointed out that the Power Point presentation mentioned in the docs was early on in the negotiations and therefore the $26.62 million mentioned in the doc was nowhere near the final license amount. In fact, as has been discussed before, you need only take the amount that we know PDS got, which was just under $1 million, and figure that was "just under 20%" of the total license, and you know what Apple paid for their "mixed license" agreement.

So not only was Brian posted false and misleading info, but he got his buddy to try to mislead the board by posting something that, upon initial reading, you come away with the impression that Brian was right. Brian attended the trial and the Apple license was pounded on and the actual amount of the license never came up? It's obvious that the redactions that Banosser did were probably to hide info that would have revealed the truth. I am sure both parties will deny it, but THEY CHOSE to do the redaction. If they had not done that, it would never have been a question. That does not smell right, without question.

So there you have it. Anyone wonder why it took 2 days for someone to post a link? Anyone want to demand an apology from Brian, Banosser (and Laurie) for their deceit? Of course, Banosser can always post the docs unredacted and that would go a long way in helping explain that it was a simple "mistake", and not intentional deception. But I'm not holding my breath on that one.
