For the Impatient Ones

I think it's important to realize that the verdict is barely 4 business days old. Also, despite winning the verdict, HTC still has the ability to appeal, as well as the need to license the MMP fully. I too want agressive and positive PR's from PTSC, but believe it's important to achieve the following milestones first:
Then, and perhaps, ONLY then, should we come out guns ablazing with PR's. I believe items 1-4 could all be completed within the next 2-4 weeks depending on how the shutdown affects the ITC's ability to do business.
No. 5 potentially could take a bit longer if not done with the initial ruling to review.
With that in mind, I wouldn't publicize, or even perhaps pursue, any additional settlments from ITC participants. I'd focus on other low hanging fruit or perhaps any splash names that would settle now in light of the NDoC verdict. I WOULD PR any of those licenses as much and as transparently as possible (if they're strong).
I think that would add additional leverage on the ITC litigants to settle rather than litigate, and if we keep them on the hook rather than reeling them in, if 1-5 go our way, our licensing fee should reflect that additional leverage ultimately.
If not, then may be we can get exclusion notices from the ITC as part of the final determination.
In the meantime, we should be getting our strategies, and our operational house in order, so that the PR campaign is polished and strong.
If my thought process is in line with the proper legal steps, and makes sense, then I'm willing to be patient a bit more knowing that the delay will build significant support for what would be coming down the pike.
