Your position is hard to endorse. PTSC has experienced the settlement scenario for years without any appreciation in the stock. It is true that HTC will probably appeal. It is true that we have no idea what a jury will do or the amount of money PTSC will get via a trial victory. But we do know what a settlement will do for the stock and that is a flat line 7 cent stock. If we settle with HTC, you feel that will motivate other companies to settle? I cant see why a company would be motivated to settle and if they did, they would settle for small amounts that would basically be the "status quo" and keep enough cash in the feeding trough for the BOD and TPL.
At this stage, the only way the shareholder will benefit is a jury trial win. I cannot see a 7 cent stock with a jury trial win even if there is an appeal. A jury victory is a powerful motivator in future licensing. We need the trial to go forward.
IMO, the stock price was suprisingly strong after the ITC ruling and I can only assume it is because it was a longshot at best and was done for strategic reasons. If the ITC was the end game, the stock would have tanked. It didn't. I believe someone(s) has a huge position in this stock (S&L) and they did not dump after the ITC rulings. The trading volume is very light and to me indicates that the bulk of the outstanding shares are being tightly held. We know that there are not a lot of shareholders, so someone(s) is controlling (IMO) 100's of millions of shares and they are not dumping them. A jury victory will be news and probably the best PR we could ever issue.
Keeping fingers crossed.....good luck to all....
