For all who are following this thread, just so we don't have any confusion, the ulitmate liability to the 890 patent for Acer was likely small. And, as we have now found out, the intervening rights issue ruled upon by Grewal for the 890 did not factor into the settlement as Acer settled before September 6th, almost two weeks prior the MSJ ruling.
