No matter what exactly you mean by the above, I simply point out that if people did not post anything which required others to correct/explain/discuss/debate, I believe we would all be left with much less knowledge, including me.

I think your assumption that sharing of information comes about w/o any discussion/ debate/questioning etc is faulty, regardless of how you might interpret the intentions of the poster.
