The more I see articles of this subject matter the more I think that the "deal" between PTSC and Apple was less about money and more about bringing it to Samsung for example - to divide the fight. Perhaps Apple has agreed to help us in this regard and was part of the "price" that Apple paid for the MMP.

This would certainly help Apple if they want to preclude Samsung from the US market. It would be nice to think that we are not going it alone but have a silent big partner in this regard. Call me crazy, but I am starting to see "a man behind the curtin pulling the strings".
