We have since signed a number of licenses (85 or so), the T3 lawsuit has been settled (although the terms have not been published due to an agreement of privacy), and more importantly all challenges to the patents ( I forget the number, 13, 14, whatever) have been dealt with mostly in PTSC's favor
We still have 450 or so companies on notice of infringement. Most have probably been stalling until the J3 case reaches its conclusion. I suspect a strong Markman ruling would expedite matters very nicely.
We can all speculate as to what the share price would be. One of us may actually get it right. One thing we can agree on is that the share price will be up. AND IT'S ABOUT TIME!
The T3 (Barco, Acer, HTC) litigation is still ongoing in NorCal... the J3 settled in ETex... The MMP patents have undergone 17 rexams..
PTSC is undoubtedly in a better position than in '06... but that does not mean our shareprice will shadow the events of '06.. There was no track record of MMP signings for investors to disseminate.. HP & Fuji signed for $50+M.. Divys.. even the Turley PR moved the SP (huh, he actually did do something..) Hopefully we get our Markman ruling.. and a return to those types of licenses.. The investor needs to be shown that when the licensing starts it is going to be nonstop for years to come.. divys.. and hopefully an increase in $/infringing chip (please read again DL)..
But first.. let's get our positive Markman..
