I would like a break down from TPl on how much it takes to negotiate a license. I always thought that the reverse engineering was completed before negotiation but after reading pacers from the Barco et al case I dont think this is the case. Litigation and re-exam aside how much does it take to negotiate a license?
He recieves 15 percent off the top? Then is supposed to split the difference with us and Moore. The expenses seem to be so out of whack. I don't know how much reverse engineering costs but if we already know a chip is an infringer and start negotiating a settlement with the company that is using them what are the expenses?
I am sure we will see some of the safeguards against over-expensing soon.
