You imply that several people had their posts deleted or were banned, but now you advise that it was but one previously unknown poster who came here to proclaim that the sky was falling. And those HLs you refer to - the old guard.

And apparently we need to revisit the word "ignorant". There is nothing wrong with being called ignorant when you display same. Nobody knows everything about everything. Being called ignorant is NOT the same as being called "stupid". It just means that it is apparent that the person has never been exposed to the information, and therefore could not be expected to have knowledge.

What carb was commonly factory installed on late '60's (through '71) high performance Chevies? Fords? Though essentially the same carb, what was the Chevy CFM rating, and the Ford CFM rating (they differ, though ventury size was identical)? Don't know? Then you are ignorant. Interestingly, Ronran may recall (he had a Boss 302 back in the day; I had Z/28s). And interestingly, Ron and I share the same opinion of the meaning and intent of the word "ignorant", and there was quite a discussion about it's application. But I note that you only mention me, but leave out all other participants in that discussion. But you were obviously exposed to the information....
