When I wrote "they" I was not refering just to the board members. I was refering to those that vote the board in time after time. When I have been to several SHM ( when they actually had real SHM ) I recall several parties of one or several people shmoozing with members of the board like they were best buddies. Some people or group of people is keeping this board in place. Those who voted this board in are going to be the ones to vote on any future proposals if they happen. The question is do these voters with huge numbers of shares help the board or is the board helping these voters?

If the board was to cross a huge shareholder then I bet new board members would appear.

Who ever holds the most shares controls and is organized, informed and united will control the company.
