I believe that if term limits are good enough for the office of the President of the United States, then the same should be good enough for board members, especially ours.
You may be correct when you said many of us could be gone in about six months. That doesn't alter my belief that corporate governance needs to be changed and it takes a united front to move towards such an action. If only people would see it as such and not spin this into a shareholder movement for an SEC investigation, or lawsuit.
I believe these changes are good, are necessary and as I said before, I would be willing to contribute towards the cost of a legal plan to do so.
If under current by-laws, shareholders could submit a nominee for the board of directors, whereby we end up with six people running for five seats.....do you really think our current board would not do everything in their power to prevent it? I'm not really clear on how this could work so I defer to those who know more than I on this subject.
