Considering the fact that court action had continued (wasn't immediately terminated) after the '584 fell out of the picture would in itself suggest that this was not the only patent in question.

I actually thought the '336 and/or '148 were in there as well, specifically the '336.
Remember the Stays? Like the one ending tomorrow? The Stays were justified by actions occurring or expected to occur near term by the PTO. This too suggests the '336 and the merged '148, '749 and '890, where PTO actions are/were expected soon.
Thus, I strongly believe we were pursuing Barco on more than just the '584.
