play your game Brian. I'm in the mood today.
It's been posted as fact here that you have been chastising the BOD for many years. So let's see what you chastising has accomplished. While you were the shareholder rep, a position I presume that gave you more of a direct line in communicating with the BOD than posting chastising messages on a message board, the board issued the infamous dividends that everyone here now says was such a great mistake. A mistake that put about $ 800,000 in your pocket if I remember correctly what the total cents per share divs were. In addition, while you had that direct (at least more direct than a message board post) communication line to the BOD, they started paying themselves an annual stipend, after years of serving without any kind of remuneration, contrary to what some posters have posted here ("they've been enriching themselves for years" crap). While you still had their ear, they gave themselves additional amounts for serving on board committees. Here is where I absolutely agree that they were being greedy pigs. The committee fees are certainly not warranted and they are/were taking advantage of the situation. But again, this all happened while your communication with them would have been, I assume, at it's keenest.
So now you are trying to argue that posting about the ills of the BOD on a message board is somehow going to create a dramatic change in how the BOD works. Or bring about changes to the actual board. A message board where POTENTIAL INVESTORS, NOT THE BOD, is the target audience. I know you will never admit it, because it would BRING LIGHT on the situation, something you always used to like to say, but how can you not possibly construe what you are doing as trying to affect INVESTOR sentiment with your actions. And as long as we're at it, it's really not that hard to see how your other boiler room buddies pile on. And yes, this has been going on for years, at opportune times. I noticed that for some reason nobody wanted to discuss the BOD issue as the price was rising after the recert announcement. I wonder why.
I've had phone call interruptions since I started this post, so I've lost a little bit of my train fo thought. So come on Brian, let's have a REAL discussion of they affects of all the negative posting and their intentions here. Because negative postings don't bring about change.
Oh, and by the way, while you're at it, maybe you can answer the question others have asked. Multimillionaire, and you want everyone to chip in for a lawyer. I'm sure you'll use some argument that it's everyone's responsibility to help their own investment, or some other such crap. Well, if you want to use that argument, tell me Mr Eight Million shares, who stand to benefit the most from any positive that could come out of it (not agreeing one iota that anything good would come out of it).
