Do you understand the role of a board of director member? Really, that's a serious question. BOD members are not "HIRED" as employees. They are "invited" to serve on a board to lend their expertise and guidance, and in return are offered renumeration that can range from NOTHING to Shares in the Company, to a combination of shares/cash, to a significant cash amount. Their involvement is usually isolated to Board Meetings, committee meetings and advisory roles when needed.
Just as Carlton Johnson didn't leave his position as in-house counsel to Roswell Capital, people don't typically leave their jobs to become BOD members. They wouldn't be "taking a pay cut", lol. they'd be supplementing their income! Do you REALLY NOT UNDERSTAND THAT? If you don't, then I'd really begin to question any of your posts here.
