just by chance I decided to look at this board tonite (been over at EDIG the past year, still have a minor holding here for over a year I have not sold) and haven't really been following PTSC much other than occasionally looking at the pps, however....

I can think of one reason why the monthly letter is scaled back in frequency... my understanding is that certain acquisitions / investments have been made with some of the cash from the settlements in the past year.

It would take more time to make sure that all the updates or news in the letter is absolutely correct (run past legal dep't.) when reporting on results and news for several "divisions".

Perhaps the more diverse the company is, the more complex the legal issues to be covered become in a simple summation... taking up more time of the CEO / CFO, etc. instead of running the company.

I like the fact that apparently more 'settlements' have been reached today... I stopped regularly reading here about the time the CA suit was filed.
