and I quote "I will focus my energy into this conference call format going forward to insure that they are broadly informative and, hereafter, will release fewer letters to shareholders than the “monthly” frequency I have attempted to support throughout 2008. The focal point of our dialogue with the shareholders will become the quarterly calls with ample time allocated to deal with specific shareholder Q&A. We will also use conventional press releases (PR) to notify you of notable activities as appropriate between the quarterly calls and any letters." end quote.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
I really like the monthly updates. I have nothing against the conference call. It's a natural evolution of the company. But I think the letters are needed. A necessity if you will.
I believe it is necessity because PTSC is such a quiet company when it comes to news.
I believe it is a sign from the company that says "yes. mr/miss/ms/mrs shareholder we know you're still around so we'd thought we'd send this letter to say that we are still around to".
I believe the letter increase shareholder morale.
I believe to have an occasional shareholder letter is a mistake.
