Due to my knowledge, you may get a U.S. patent "easier" compared to a European patent. The checks are done not so "deep" due to the fact that much more patents are filed in the U.S. So the examiners have no chance to go into such deep. It's Ok, as long as nobody cares about the granted patent. Afterwards, the "deep" check is done with the reex.
