IMO 2006 was a very special situation:
Swartz with nearly 40-60mio shares waiting to be thrown in the market made it necessary to create the right mixture of "vision & greed".
The first licence names like HP and Fujitsu and the two dividends were the right ingredients for this "swartz-gets-money"-cocktail.
In case of some positive results from the USPTO and new licensees I don't expect to see that many shares changing like in the 2006 days, simply because in 2006 a lot of shareholders were already green, as the shareprice climbed over 20 Cent, but today my guess is the most shareholders have to reach the 40ies to 70ies range, before they see the first green colour in their account.
In a nut shell: You can't compare 2006 and 2008 - but of course I would welcome repeating history = sudden spike over 2 dollars...lol
