You are exactly right. I started to post a very similiar thought this morning but decided otherwise. I don't think many here want to believe we may still have a substantial amount of time before we see things come to fruition. The USPTO is a major piece of the puzzle. It will give those sitting on the sidelines a reason to come forward and license. I asked my relative if he'd ever heard of TPL, Patriot or Alliacense. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "No". After I explained the story he gave the exact reaction I expect comes from every potential infringer they contact, prove it. He started laughing talking about how often they run into companies with no product and basically no company trying to profit off of something they didn't invent. Now, I expected him to react that way, after all, he built his company from the ground up. When I see him it really makes me think about the uphill battle Alliacense faces everyday. They have to convince each and every one of this guys to fork over cash. I guarantee you it would take a gun to my head before you would get cash from me . Can you imagine what these multi-billion dollar companies are thinking when approached about infringement?
The latest Q left us with no other choice than to believe what you see is what you get. Our CEO made statements that seemed to allude to that fact. Sure you can read between the lines and surmise all kinds of theories but how many investors would 1) take the time? and 2) trust that kind of communication? There are to many unknowns still on the table. Until we start receiving clearer communication and see measurable revenue this S/P isn't going anywhere. I mean hell, look at me. I used funds in my second account to cost average down my first account. I now need to open a 3rd account to cost average my 2nd account down. Any investors watching this story unfold definitely haven't seen enough to calm their nerves, at least not yet. All IMO.
