I was just about to post the same sentence from the SH letter. Because I have similar thoughts…

"I will not, in the limited context of this letter, recount all the information contained in our April 9, 2008 earnings release, which fully reflects the financial results of all transactions announced prior to the end of January 2008."

The earnings release reflects financial results of all transactions…prior Jan08

This could mean that more transactions might take place. In no way does the statement imply that there will not be more financial results from the J settlements or others for that matter?

The statement seems engineered to be ambiguous. IMO
