I agree with you.  There is more to this story than is being told.  As others noted, the 10Q says that only TPL granted rights to the J's in the form of license agreements.  Why omit Patriot from this sentence?  It can't be an oversight.  

What could Patriot have accepted in lieu of a license payment?  Future assistance (monetary?) with an M&A?  Future license when PTO is done?
