I believe I responded to this question recent (and was met by agreement by others). The question:

"....wasn't the final date to file Motions, December 12th?

If so, does that mean that We/defendants can no longer file a Motion for Summary Judgement?"

IMO, the Judge can do whatever he wants in this regard (e.g., push out that "final" date), especially if he sees the proposed motion as a probable benefit to the court (i.e., prompts settlement or "narrows" the trial to one only involving damages determination).

JMHO, and I KNOW nuttin' - 'cept this is "logical" to me!
