Yeah Johnny U. was cut by the Steelers and played sandlot ball in Bloomfield I think it was....two way players on hard grassless fields back then...think it was Weeb Ewbank who signed him as a free agent ..had to make the team on top of that to get a salary.

Went to school with his niece, lots of old stories...Steelers kept a guy named Marchibroda instead of him...think he threw less than 10 passes in his carreer...but as an irony...ended up being his last coach in San Diego the year before he retired.

Greatest upset ever in SB history...Jets/Colts...what a game to remember//was in college at the time in NJ...and same year as the amazing mets win....NY/NJ went wild that year
