There are several avenues to growth available. I believe your idea could be implemented, however, trial victory or not:

Through our connections, maybe we can find a few key Java tools developers in some floundering companies willing to make a "transition" at the right time...assuming we continue a positive cash flow ramp. 

This is another small step that could lead to big payoff.
