Thank you for your response and the smile (I just get concerned when I find I've written something that may have been taken negatively when such was not intended).

You ask: "What if only the '584 came with indemnity?"

I think that's exactly what the ARM debate has come down to, or ARM couldn't have escaped this litigation.  Thus, it must be the perception of all our opposition, and probably the court, that ARM designs only infringe the '584 (assuming it is validated).  This still baffles me, for reasons stated, because I was so convinced that ARM designs infringe other elements of the MMP.

You'll have to admit, this whole saga is very interesting purely from an amusement standpoint.  The ultimate "who done it?".  And the size of investment just adds to the suspense.
