While I agree with what you say, I do take exception to one assumption:

"The buyback-PR could only relate to the action at wednesday and thursday..."

Nowhere in the PR did it say "we did it and now we're done".  I took it more as "we did it, and will continue to do it as long as we consider the stock undervalued and this action a prudent use of our resources".
