IMO there could have been three reasons for the thursday pr and the strong volume:
- legal obligation because they suspended the buyback before
- they know, what will happen in the next days and want to increase shareprice step by step (20-30% per day) until this event, instead of a huge gap-up (...?)
- Patriot wants to encourage other investors to step in
Question is:
Was it Patriot, who bought the shareprice up on Friday? Or someone else?
The buyback-PR could only relate to the action at wednesday and thursday...
BTW: We never had that much volume in Germany since months - normally the market in Germany was waiting for the action of the US-market and then the buys/sells came in.
I guess, if we see some volume on Monday morning in Germany, the positive development from Friday could continue.
