The thought has also occurred to me that maybe there was a deeper reason for naming the patent portfolio the MMP - beyond gratifying Moore's ego. That being to offset the implications of both inventors referring to the '336 as the "Fish Clock". While it also made sense from the standpoint that Moore is the inventor (of the two) that remains an owner of the patents by virtue of TPL, it may just be that they actually considered the possibility of some accusations (as we're seeing) that the patents, independently, were solely the result of one person's efforts. Maybe a stretch, but maybe some good pre-planning (in light of the documents from their ownership dispute).
