And in my mind, the right hand justification of operands did not automatically kill the 584 with respect to ARM. IMHO ARM provides IP that lets the designer choose left or right on permanent basis or a switch which will activate left or right on start up. So by allowing either left or right structure ARM circumvents the 584. But I believe that in a court of law, ARM could still be found to infringe.

The above is my opinion and I could be wrong. Please jump in with any other opinions. But I think the wording of the stipulated judgement on the 584 might provide an indication of wether ARM is in fact the potential suitor. No summary judgement request. TPL and ARM working together on the wording. If ARM is the suitor, then they might just want to keep the 584 patent in tact, especially if they believe TPL can reverse the initial rejection of claim 29, which many of us believe is possible.
