the reason battles like this are not waged more often is because most otc's are scams and success is low unless you have money, and since ptsc is not a scam, just managed poorly imo, there is an opportunity...ttccrr
I agree that the are a lot of scams out in Penny Stock Hell. IMO, PTSC does have the potential many speculative stocks lack. Of course, this comes from someone who owns tons of EDIG and got greedy by not selling when the stock moved above $20 a share. Lesson learned -- have an exit strategy and execute it. I will not make the same mistake with PTSC. My shares are still in the black.
It's not difficult to imagine what happens when / if they win. Money's Golden Rule applies, He who has the gold, rules. Most here will like the current BOD and management should the pps rise after S & L finishes their conversion and other license deals are announced. Of course, that does not mean they are the right team for PTSC's future. IMO, that is two different skill sets. Jim Turley may well be the future. We just don't know.
Debating the practices of our current BOD is not going to be fruitful until we know the outcome of the Markman the following settlement discussions and / or trail, IMO. If you think about it, Mr. Pohl and the BOD gang had to make some tough calls. What do they do if they have and unfavorable Markman ruling? How do they prepare for such an event? They paid what out what they felt best, and kept enough cash on hand to carry the company -- and their paychecks -- through tough times. I believe they have enough cash to do just that at this time. However, I just don't know enough to claim they made all the right decisions. IMO, it won't matter if they win and settle the current case.
So, this management team and BOD decided to just downsize and wait for the cash to then give some of it back to S & L via two divy dumps. For me, that's OK. I always take the money since I believe PTSC will win the Markman. If wrong, I'll be on the night train to somewhere else, tail firmly between my legs. I don't know what these guys could have done if the strategy was to build a company on the backs of the MMP license, then acquire / JV with another company(ies).
At this point, I believe the future is resting entirely on the Markman outcome.
Just my $0.02.
