You points are well taken - however - atorneys get sued everyday for "ineffective counsel" (i put it in quotes because it is a legal term).
If an attorney gives bad advice they are responsible for it - why else hire them other than to get good advice? I am not talking about splitting hairs or honest mistakes or even gray areas. I am talking about errors that cost the clients millions of dollars. How did 19 or 22 sets of attorneys all come up with the same conclusion - that they were infringing a valid patent???
