Interesting.  How does the data compare to that which is made available by, say China and Russia?  Surely they do some self-reporting for public consumption, no?  Also, is your data modified to account for GDP outputs, obviously the most critically important factor when discussing and comparing such statistics.  Of course doing so would render a different answer, one that might not acceptable to those advancing a political agenda over reality.
