That is why I worded it as various stages of negotiation/completion... With Alliacense (TPL) exclusively conducting the negotiations.. perhaps PTSC would not know (wink) if a few deals were actually so close to completion... thus covering their a$$ legally.

Also, it will be interesting to see how many deals we see approaching Markman.. I would assume some would want to license pre Markman (and avoid higher fees post a successful Markman). Some will want to wait to see how the patents hold up and possibly pay less or possibly nothing (as Pohl stated tho, these patents have been thru the wringer already) As I posted (hypothesized) once before, if Lecky & Allia weren't confident these patents were the real deal, IMO we'd be seeing MMP licenses fly out the door for real nuisance values pre Markman (as TPL tried to get as much revenue for the future as possible).. I guess we still could, since a ruling is still literally months away. Interpretation of happenings pre Markman, no matter the numbers of deals, will still be rank speculation
