I'm sorry, but it is NOT Mr. Pohl's "fiduciary responsibility to increase the pps". He may have certain fiduciary duties, but that is not one of them. In fact, there have been some unscrupulous CEO's in corporate America who have actually breached their fiduciary duty using a variety of accounting tricks for the sole purpose of (artificially) inflating their share price. We don't need that.
What I believe Mr. Pohl is doing is managing the company in a way that will enhance shareholder value in the long term. If he does a good job doing that, then the share price will eventually follow.
