Along these lines (i.e., anyone can petition the USPTO to perform a review), I strongly suspect that such reviews may have been requested regarding all of our patents over the past couple of years. It's basically free, so why not?
ASSUMING my suspicion is correct, nothing ever came of it. And we didn't know about it, because the petitioning party(ies) didn't announce to the world that they were taking such action (and if the entity was an infringing party, why would they? It would be a big sign of weakness).
Just some food for thought....
And PLEASE, no one write letters, make calls or anything to anybody about any of this. Just let the TPL/PTSC litigation team do their thing. PLEASE don't corrupt or otherwise unintentionally sabotage our interests. You may think that you are just helping out "our team", but you don't have any idea what our team's game plan is. Leave it alone!
Just my strong opinions. And while I don't KNOW re: the first paragraph, I do KNOW re: the second.
