I had the opportunity for a brief e-mail chat with BC during the Moriarty mess and he stated, at that time, that he believed in supporting his partners.

Maybe he choose to stick with his committment to AUL while they raised the capital. But it is also my understanding (from the PR's) that after JB#5, the arrnagements could be different.
