A number of months back (I think before the New Year), I sent an email to Noront with regards to any discussions with Neil Novak and Spider Resources. The anonymous answer was "We have talked."

Novak and Nemis have a great deal of respect for each other, and I would put money on something coming out of private discussions between them.

As far as Teck Comminco is concerned, I would also put money on these guys wanting a serious part of McFaulds. They were at the IBK "Ring of Fire" luncheon, and they have already had a site visit. And as you pointed out, they have significant monies in their bank account. They didn't spend it on Noranda; why not, NOT? And the other players in the Great Canadian Area Play in the JBL.
