This was exactly the case of one of my patients. She was T1 diagnosed over 40 years ago. And while she took excellent care of herself, she was running out of spots where she could inject and get any sort of reasonable absorption.

I told her about Afrezza 2 years ago - virtually on the eve of the 2nd CRL. It was very unfortunate that I would have to later tell her that she would have to wait even longer.
